Claims of Activity

The activity seemed to center around the client’s son Donovan.  Most of the activity was only witnessed by the son who reported it to his parents.  The son mainly complained about “doggies” that seemed to live under his bed. The dogs were described to be different colors such as white and blue, and at one time the son said one of the dogs had bit him.  For a time the son seemed scared of the dogs he saw but as time went on he seemed to get used to them. Eventually, he didn’t say much about the dogs anymore.

The son also reported being pushed by a policeman who was red and orange.  He also stated he saw a man go down their basement stairs.

The male client also had experienced some activity.  He reports waking up one night and seeing a light move down the hallway toward their bedroom, enter their bedroom, and then hover in front of his face before shooting very quickly out a closed bedroom window.  This only occurred once.

The female client also has seen something strange in their home.  One night late, she was laying in her bed looking at the door to her son’s room when she saw a red mist float from the hallway into her son’s room by going over the top of the closed over door.  A short time later, the red mist exited the room via the same way it entered and dissipated.

Investigation

We arrived at the client’s house at around 6:45 pm.  The investigators present were Noah, Michael, Deidre, and Amy.  The first thing we did is give Amy and Deidre a brief tour, while Michael began has own walkthrough to allow him the time necessary to clear his mind and get his impressions about the home.  After getting the tour, Amy and Deidre were given a Tri-field meter, pyrometer, and digital camera, to take baseline readings and pictures throughout the house. The baseline reading’s didn’t show anything anomalous, and after they were taken and Michael was done with is walkthrough, we sat down with the client’s to discuss how the night would go and what Michael had sensed.  It should be noted that two friends of the client’s joined us for the first hour or so of the investigation. They left once we broke into groups.

After discussing Michael’s findings, we did some group EVP sessions.  First everyone from PIM went up to the son’s room when he wasn’t there and did an EVP sessions.  Then we split up with Michael and Noah going downstairs and Amy and Deidre staying upstairs to continue the EVP session as Michael felt that the entity in the son’s room did not like males.  After this EVP session Amy and Deidre came downstairs and we did a group EVP session with everyone in the dining room. Once that EVP session was complete we then moved everyone up to the son’s room and did another EVP session in there this time with the son present.  The reason we did this was to see if we possibly had different responses or activity in that room depending if the son was there or not. After this EVP session the son was put to bed for the night.

At this point we wanted to break into two groups and cover two locations at once.  The client’s friends left, and we set up a camera looking down the hallway that leads to the son’s bedroom.  Unfortunately, the son was a little worked up with everyone at the house and did not get to sleep as quickly as we had hoped.  So it was decided to do another group EVP session but this time in the basement.

During this session, the female reported feeling colder on one of her arms then on the rest of her body while she was sitting on a chest freezer.  After checking the temperature using the pyrometer no anomalous reading was found. When she moved to a different location the cold seemed to follow her, but again no strange reading was obtained.  Nothing more of note occurred during this EVP session. At this point, the son seemed to be asleep so we broke into two groups. Michael, Amy, and the male client, known from here on as Group 1, went upstairs to investigate the attic and the 2nd floor.  Noah, Deidre, and the female client, Group 2, stayed on the 1st floor to investigate.

Group 2 did not have any noticeable events occur during their investigation of the 1st floor.  Group 1 did have some things occur during their investigation of the attic and the 2nd floor.  While in the attic, Amy and the male client both felt as if they were being touched by something.  The male client also felt like he was being touched in the master bedroom. Once the investigations by the groups had been completed, Group 1 and Group 2 switched.

During Group 1’s investigation of the 1st floor not much was experienced.  Group 2 did have a little activity on the 2nd floor.  Noah thought he may have been touched while in the master bedroom.  He was not 100% sure, but it seemed as if something had been touching his foot while lying on the bed.  There also was notice of an energetic feeling coming from the master bedroom closet. Other than that nothing else of note really happened.

Once these investigations had been complete, it was decided to revisit the attic one more time.  This time it was only the members of PIM that went with Amy, Deidre, and Noah entering the attic and Michael staying at the foot of the ladder.  Again Amy reported feeling as if she had been touched while we tried to communicate with the spirit located there. She was the only one to report this activity during this time.

At this point it was getting close to 1 am and it was decided to pack up our equipment and head home.

Conclusion

After going over the hours of audio and video evidence we had, we did not find anything concrete.  That doesn’t mean that there is no activity at the client’s house, just that we were not able to catch any concrete evidence during our investigation.

Since our investigation, the client’s report that the activity seems to have slowed, and the son is not reporting things to them as before.  We at PIM would like to thank the client’s for allowing us to come into their home to conduct this investigation. At this time, we don’t have enough evidence to definitively say that the client’s house is haunted, but the personal experiences that we had there do leave some unanswered questions.
