Arrival
Noah, Michael and Steve met at the 4th Street residence at approximately 7:30 pm. Julie interviewed the group members for an article she was writing for OnMilwaukee.com while they were waiting for Karen to arrive. Michael did a walkthrough of the home to get his impressions of the location – he is a group sensitive. When Karen arrived around 9:00 pm she also walked around the home to get her impressions – she’s another sensitive. Please see both of their impressions at the end of the report for their findings.
After all impressions were given to the owners, the group set up their equipment in different spots of the home.

Investigation
Before starting the investigation, an electromagnetic field (EMF) sweep was done through the house, as during her walkthrough, Karen noticed some areas possibly had high EMF.
NOTE: High levels of EMF may affect someone to feel as if they are being watched, may feel lightheaded or even sick to their stomach.
| LEVEL | EMF Detection Average |
| Basement | Electrical half – 75 / Non-electrical half – 7 |
| 1st Level (Living room/kitchen level) | 3-4 |
| 2nd Level (Bedroom level) | 2.5 |
| Attic | 2 |
There were a few factors that could naturally be explained for the different levels of EMF detection. The first is in the basement. The electrical boxes and ground piping threw off very high levels of EMF, which could bleed through the floor and up to the upper levels. Also, it was noted outside the second level window near the top of the staircase was a wire that could possibly affect the levels.
The group then moved to the attic around 10 p.m. to begin the investigation – both Whitney and Julie were invited to join. Everyone sat in silence for about 5-10 minutes in order to hear some of the sounds of the house as well as any outdoor noise. It was noted the cats, which were locked in a room on the 2nd floor, could be heard once in a while.
The group attempted an electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) session to contact the spirits in which both Michael and Karen felt were in the attic. During the session, Noah and Karen heard what sounded like footsteps and weird noises from the second level. Noah, upon moving from the top of the attic stairs to the door to the attic, stated the noises stopped once he got near the door. It was possible the cats were making the noise, as they were in the bedroom under where Noah was originally sitting.
Moving to the second level, Michael asked Whitney and Julie to sit on their bed in the master bedroom, while Noah, Steve and Karen were outside of the room. They conducted a short EVP session in the room. No activities occurred.
As a large group, everyone moved to the east bedroom. An EVP session was conducted there as well, but once again no unusual activities occurred.
The group took a break on the first level and then split into two groups of three. Noah, Michael and Julie went to the basement, while Steve, Karen and Whitney went up to the attic. The groups then switched locations after about 20-30 minutes. No unusual activities happened to either group in either location.
Around 12:15 a.m., the group packed up their equipment from all parts of the home and left.
Conclusion
Although no evidence had been collected on this investigation, spirits were detected by the group’s sensitives. The owners of the home had not reported much activity save for one recent incident. Having only been there for a short time, it is possible that the activity had just not been noticed yet or had not been very frequent. It is also possible that no activity will ever be experienced. At this time PIM would have to state that this location is not haunted, although we would be open to re-investigating the residence in the future if the owners requested us to do so.
ALL MEMBERS OF PIM THANK WHITNEY AND JULIE FOR ALLOWING US TO CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION AT THEIR 4TH STREET ADDRESS. THE GROUP ALSO THANKS JULIE FOR WORKING WITH US FOR HER ONMILWAUKEE.COM ARTICLE. WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE POSSIBILITY OF RE-INVESTIGATING THE PROPERTY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!
Impressions
Michael’s Impressions:
Attic – Male/teenager,white, shy, blonde hair – Steven maybe?
2nd Floor – Middle-south bedroom – Child, possibly little girl – un aware
East Bedroom (front) – Feeling of a baby crying
West Bedroom Rear – older woman, possibly connected to bed, I think she died in it
Living Room – man at the door, roaming – died possibly of a lung problem, 30’s (earlier age)
Kitchen/Pantry – Middle-age woman, putting dishes away unaware
Basement – odd feeling
Karen’s Impressions:
Basement
– Nothing in the basement
First Level
– In the front hall by the front door I picked up on an older man. I almost felt like he was a war veteran, possibly WWII. He seemed to be standing in front of the closet as if he wanted to walk through an old doorway.
Second Level
– As soon as I got to the top of the stairs, something didn’t feel right. Felt there was a high level of EMF being detected around the area (it would later be noted there was a wire just outside of the window at the top of the stairs).
– Master Bedroom: I felt there was a woman sitting on the bed near the right side of the room by a window. I felt she was sad and was crying – didn’t know why. I couldn’t tell an age, but I sensed she was wearing a long dress and had sleeves. Someone from the early 1900’s or so possibly.
– East Bedroom (Maintenance/Drum room) – There was a man in there, possibly in his upper 30’s to lower 40’s. He seemed to know we were there, but he didn’t seem all too happy about it.
Attic
– As soon as I got to the top of the stairs, I felt this really young boy (maybe 7 or 8 years old) come run over to the railing and wanted to talk. He was definitely curious as to why we were there. I pictured him in overalls, and I got the sense his bedroom was on the west side of the attic. While we did our EVP session as a large group, I picked up the young boy’s name possibly was George, and that the spirit Michael picked up on was the boy’s brother. He seemed to get sad when I wanted to try to talk to the spirit Michael picked up on the east side of the attic.
