Arrival

Gravy, Chris, and Noah arrived at the location at 6:45 pm. They began to bring in their equipment and set up base camp in the science lab on the 1st Floor. Noah had two group members begin to do baseline readings while Gravy, Chris and Noah began to set up equipment. Everyone else remained in the science lab.

While Noah went around turning off the lights, Gravy darkened the areas that could be darkened. Security lights stayed on until the back-up batteries died some time later. Once set up was complete, the equipment was started and time stamped. All members then met in the science lab and Noah went over the guidelines for the investigation before beginning. Then Noah split everyone into two groups and the investigation began.

Claims of Activity

  • A woman’s voice has been heard in the Basement
  • A shadow figure has been seen sitting in the auditorium seats and someone has also been touched while on the stage
  • Footsteps have been heard on the 1st Floor and in the Attic
  • A computer on the 3rd Floor went on and off by itself at the same time someone heard footsteps

Investigation

Auditorium – 8:42 pm

Group 1 – The group spread themselves throughout the Auditorium. After observing several minutes of silence to get accustomed to the normal sounds of the building, the group began an EVP session. The group noted the PIM Pod was continuously lit. The PIM Pod detects positive and negative ions. When the Pod is on it is detecting positive ions. When the light turns off the Pod is detecting negative ions. Nothing occurred during this time and the group ended the EVP session.

END TIME: 9:00 pm

Basement – 9:45 pm

Group 2 – The group situated themselves throughout the Basement. They started by observing silence to get use to the normal sounds of the building. After a few minutes they began an EVP session. At one point during the session, an investigator felt a cool breeze move past them. It was discovered this was a cool draft coming from the stairwell or a nearby window. No other activity occurred and the group ended their EVP session.

END TIME: 9:05 pm

3rd Floor – 9:04 pm

Group 1 – The group situated themselves throughout the 3rd Floor and observed several minutes of silence before beginning an EVP session.

At 9:18 pm, there were multiple clicking noises, like the sound of someone flicking a poster on the wall with their finger. No known source for the sound was found and the group ended the EVP session and moved on.

END TIME: 9:20 pm

Gym – 9:10 pm

Group 2 – The group spread throughout the Gym and observed silence to get accustomed to the normal sounds of this part of the building. After a few minutes they began an EVP session. During the EVP session, a door off to the side of the Gym had shook a little as if someone was trying to open it. Gravy went over and opened the door leading into a storage room. On the back of the wall was a window that was poorly sealed. This window allowed air movement in the room causing the door to shake. Nothing else occurred during this time and the EVP session was ended.

END TIME: 9:23 pm

Gym – 9:28 pm

Group 1 – The group situated themselves throughout the Gym. After observing a few minutes of silence they began an EVP session.

At 9:36 pm a knock was heard. Noah thought it sounded like a knock on the Gym floor but it was discovered that knocking on the floor didn’t sound the same. It was finally determined that the noise came from one of the doors that led to a storage room. After speaking with the other group, this was dismissed due to a leaky window in the room allowing air movement to cause the door to vibrate making the knocking noise.

At 9:43 pm, the thermal imaging camera was picking up a cold spot on the wall. Noah determined this was due to poor insulation in this part of the Gym wall and not paranormal. No other activity occurred during this time and the EVP session was ended.

END TIME: 9:46 pm

3rd Floor – 9:34 pm

Group 2 – The group spread throughout the 3rd Floor and observed silence before beginning an EVP session. The group of investigators in Room 300 experienced the same clicking noise that was heard by the 1st group earlier in the night. No explanation for the sound could be found. When it was asked for this event to happen again there was the sound of a footstep on the floor within the room. Gravy and one other investigator experienced, at separate occasions, a child size shadow moving about in Room 300. This was not captured on video. No other activity occurred and the group ended the session.

END TIME: 9:50 pm

Basement – 9:49 pm

Group 2 – The group spread throughout the Basement area. They observed several minutes of silence before starting an EVP session. No activity occurred during this time and the group ended their EVP session. The group re-convened with Group 2 at base camp for a short break.

END TIME: 10:15 pm

Auditorium – 9:58 pm

Group 2 – The group spread throughout the Auditorium and observed several minutes of silence before beginning an EVP session.

At 10:00 pm, Chris, sitting by the East side entrance to the Auditorium heard a strange single clicking noise. Chris could not find a cause for this sound.

At 10:13 pm, Chris heard the sound of shuffling by the east side doors. No known cause was found for this sound and it wasn’t captured on audio. The group ended their EVP session and meet with Group 1 back at base camp.

END TIME: 10:16 pm

Both groups met at base camp and took a short break before continuing for the remainder of the night.

3rd Floor – 10:35 pm

Group 1 – The group spread throughout the 3rd Floor. They observed several minutes of silence before starting an EVP session. No activity occurred during this time and the group ended their EVP session.

END TIME: 11:02 pm

Gym – 10:35 pm

Group 2 – The group spread throughout the Gym and began an EVP session.

At 10:39 pm, in response to a question from an investigator, there was a snap or pop sound coming from the north side bleachers. This was not duplicated when asked to make the noise again so the event was considered a coincidence. No other activity occurred and the group ended the EVP session.

END TIME: 10:50 pm

Auditorium – 11:07 pm

Group 1 – The group spread throughout the Auditorium. They observed several minutes of silence before starting an EVP session. Some members thought they heard some noises coming from the storage areas at the top of the Auditorium where instruments were stored. Noah decided to move into that area to see if he could also hear these noises. No activity occurred during this time and the group ended their EVP session a short time later.

END TIME: 11:18 pm

Basement – 10:56 pm

Group 2 – The group situated themselves throughout the Basement. After a few minutes of silence they began an EVP session.

At 11:12 pm, Chris and Gravy both heard a creak from the stairwell area. This sound could not be duplicated and no known cause of the sound could be found. No other events occurred and the group ended the EVP session and moved to their next location.

END TIME: 11:19 pm

Gym – 11:25 pm

Group 1 – The group spread throughout the Gym. They observed several minutes of silence before starting an EVP session. No activity occurred during this time and the group ended their EVP session.

END TIME: 11:34 pm

3rd Floor – 11:28 pm

Group 2 – The group split up into two groups. Chris led a group to Room 300, while Gravy led a group to Room 312. Both groups began an EVP session.

At 11:47 pm, in Room 312, the sound of high pitched conversation was heard by two of the investigators. No source of the sound was found and it wasn’t coming from the group in Room 300.

At 11:49 pm, in Room 312, there was the sound of a footstep as the floor creaked in the room. The sound could not be duplicated and was considered settling of the building.

At 11:56 pm, in Room 300, the group reported hearing a loud thump as if a chair was moved but no source was found for the sound. Shortly after, Noah called an end to the investigation.

END TIME: 12:00 am

Basement – 11:36pm

Group 1 – The group spread throughout the Basement area. They observed several minutes of silence before starting an EVP session. No activity occurred during this time and Noah called an end to the evening’s investigation.

END TIME: 12:00 am

The group returned to base camp. Gravy, Noah and Chris packed up their equipment, turned off their control recorders and left for the night.

Conclusion

No evidence was collected during this investigation

This was PIM’s first visit to this historic location and PIM had such a great experience and was honored to be able to investigate there. PIM was called in because of the picture being moved and the track lighting being moved to aim light towards the middle of the room. PIM also sought out to discover any validity to the claims given by the seance that was held 15 years ago regarding “Victor”. During our time there PIM was unable to debunk any of the claims. However, there were a few personal experiences during the investigation. Some we were able to be debunked immediately like the vibration of the cars setting off the geophone and the furnace causing the knocking noise on the 3rd floor. Others could not be explained. Although no hard evidence came out of this investigation, one investigation is not enough to conclude what might be occurring here. PIM hopes to be able to return to the building in the future to continue to study the location.

PIM would like to thank those who made this investigation possible and would be happy to come back to do a follow-up investigation at a later date.
