Arrival

The group, minus Chris, arrived the night before and set up their equipment throughout the house. They then spent the evening hanging out at the location with minimal equipment running. It was at the request of the homeowner to have little to no equipment running as he believes groups will have more personal experiences if the groups focus less on investigating. No activity was reported to have happened that night. No evidence was found on the pieces of equipment that were running either.

Investigation

2nd Floor – 3:41 pm

The group, minus Chris, situated themselves in different rooms on the 2nd Floor. After observing silence for several minutes, the group began an EVP session. The owner had returned home so the group ended the session. Nothing happened during this time and the group moved to the 1st Floor to talk to the owner.

END TIME: 4:12 pm

The group sat around the Dining Room talking to the homeowner. At approximately 4:30 pm, a large gust of wind shook the house. There was a hollow bang heard at about the same time. The homeowner went outside and circled the house to make sure nothing had hit the house. Noah and Gravy went up to the 2nd Floor to make sure nothing had fallen. Nothing seemed to be out of place and nothing appeared to have hit the house. It was noted that the door of the shed on the west side of the house was still open.

Chris arrived on location around 5:00 pm and set up his equipment. Jann took baseline readings of EMF and temperature in the house while the rest of the group started all their equipment throughout the house to get baseline readings while they were out to dinner. The group left for dinner at 6:00 pm and returned at 7:30 pm.

Gravy and Noah went to barn to turn off the main barn light and get outside baseline conditions.

Once these were completed, the team began the investigation.

2nd Floor – 8:12 pm

The group situated themselves on the 2nd Floor. Chris sat in the NW bedroom. Gravy sat in the NE bedroom. Jann sat in the Nursery and Noah sat in the Master Bedroom. The group observed several minutes of silence before beginning an EVP session. It was noted that it was very windy outside which caused several strange sounds in the house.

Around 8:18 pm, Noah heard two thumps in the Master Bedroom. These sounds were regarded as normal building sounds, possibly due to the windy conditions.

At 8:24 pm, Chris began to say something and thought he heard someone speak at the same time but could not make out what was being said. No evidence of this was caught on any of the devices in that room.

At 8:30 pm, Jann and Noah both heard the sound described like that of a crow cawing. No apparent origin was found and although it was very windy outside, the group couldn’t rule out that it was an actual crow that was heard.

At 8:41 pm, Chris saw a white/grey mist out of the corner of his eye. Since the eyes are known to play tricks on us, especially in the dark and when seen out of the corner of the eye, it was time stamped for Jann to keep a close eye on when reviewing her camera evidence. This event was not captured on video.

No other events occurred during this time and the group ended their EVP session.

END TIME: 9:02 pm

1st Floor – 9:10 pm

The group situated themselves on the 1st Floor. Chris sat in the Family Room. Gravy sat in the Dining Room. Jann sat in the Parlor and Noah in the Living Room. They observed several minutes of silence before beginning an EVP session.

At 9:48 pm, Jann felt a prickly sensation in the middle of her chest and her left side. Noah placed his 3-axis EMF detector a few inches in front of Jann and reported a spike in EMF from 2-7 on 3 separate occasions. It was observed that the internet router was a few feet away which could have been the cause for the 3-axis meter readings but when Noah checked this as a possible source the EMF field was at baseline levels. Thus, it was undetermined as to why Jann experienced the prickly sensation.

END TIME: 9:51 pm

The group decided to take a break at this time before moving onto their next location.

Old Basement – 10:27 pm

The group spread throughout the Old Basement. To get accustomed to the normal sounds of this part of the house, the group observed silence for several minutes before beginning an EVP session. Noah sat at the top of the stairs, with Chris at the bottom. Gravy and Jann sat in other areas of the Old Basement.

The group started an EVP session. After a short time, Chris and Noah heard what sounded like something scrambling up the stairs that lead to the 2nd Floor. Noah got up and opened the door to the 2nd Floor thinking that maybe a cat was up there even though the group had been careful to keep them on the 1st Floor. Noah did not see anything and returned to the top of the Old Basement stairs.

Nothing else happened during their time here and the group moved on.

END TIME: 10:56 pm

The group took another short break before moving on.

2nd Floor – 11:12 pm

The group spread themselves throughout the 2nd Floor and observed silence for several minutes before beginning an EVP session. Chris sat in the Nursery. Gravy sat in the Master Bedroom. Jann sat in the NE Bedroom and Noah in the NW Bedroom.

At 11:23 pm, Gravy heard a loud popping noise right next to him. It was noted there was a water bottle on the floor near him. The sound more than likely came from the bottle adjusting to the temperature changes in the room.

At 11:31 pm, Noah believed to have heard the voice of a female but could not find the source. This was not captured on any equipment in that room.

At 11:34 pm, Jann saw a light in the NE Bedroom. No source of the light could be found and no vehicles were driving down the country road that passes by the front of the farm house. This was not caught on video.

At 11:45 pm, Noah went down stairs to grab new SD cards for his cameras. The group decided to end the EVP session at this time.

END TIME: 11:48 pm

The group took a break at this time and sat around the Dining Room area.

1st Floor – 12:17 am

The group spread throughout the 1st Floor. Noah and Gravy sat in the Dining Room and Chris and Jann sat in the Living Room. After observing silence, the group began an EVP session. The group ended the session when the owner arrived home. No activity occurred during this session.

END TIME: 12:32 am

The group took a break and discussed the night’s activity with the owner before moving upstairs.

2nd Floor – 12:54 am

The group spread throughout the 2nd Floor. Noah sat at the top of the stairs, Gravy sat in the NW Bedroom. Chris and Jann sat in the Nursery. The owner sat in the Nursery and read a children’s book in hopes to stir up activity. A short EVP session was started. No activity occurred during this time.

END TIME: 1:07 am

The group went down to the 1st Floor to discuss whether or not they were going to spend the night there or try to beat a storm home and leave. It was decided they were going to leave before the storm arrived and the investigation was called to an end at 1:20 am.

The group packed up their equipment, thanked the home owner, and left for home.

Conclusion

PIM had another great and successful investigation at this amazing location. Although we did not find any evidence during our investigation, the history of this building and its claims of activity intrigue PIM to want to investigate it further. We want to sincerely thank the homeowner once again for making this investigation possible and we consider ourselves truly fortunate to have been given this opportunity.
