Arrival
Noah, Tony, Mary and Eric arrived at the residence shortly after 7 pm. The clients were in the process of moving everyone out of the house and to a nearby hotel for the weekend when PIM arrived. PIM unloaded their equipment and decided to set up base camp in the Foyer. Tony gave Noah, Eric and Mary a quick tour of the location since he was the only one who had been there previously. When in the Basement, the group decided to block up all the windows to prevent any outside light from contaminating the area. Tony then led the group upstairs where more windows were blocked up and a cat litter box was taken outside to avoid us running into it in the dark. After the tour, Tony and Mary took outside environmental readings and then went around and did EMF and temperature baseline readings throughout the house. Eric and Noah began getting cameras setup during this time. It took several hours to get all the equipment set up and running, and the group completed this task at 10:35 pm.
Investigation
The investigation began at 10:46 pm. Noah, Mary, Eric and Tony went down to the Basement first as the male client was planning on sleeping there later in the evening due to working early the next morning. The male and female client remained in the Living Room on the 1st floor.
Noah was in the Son’s Bedroom, Tony in the Daughter’s Bedroom, Mary was near the washing machine, and Eric was in the aisle between Mary and the two bedrooms. The group began with five minutes of silence to become acquainted with normal house noises. At 10:51 pm the group started an electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) session.
At 10:56 pm the clients upstairs radioed that they had heard a shuffling sound in the Foyer. At the same time Noah reported a loud pop that came from the TV located in the bedroom he was in. It sounded like the plastic was contracting, and it was noted that the TV hadn’t been on for several hours.
At 11:00 pm, a clicking noise was heard by the laundry area by Mary along with some light footsteps. Upon investigation nothing was observed and the clicking noise could have come from a number of devices located in that area of the Basement.
At 11:15 pm Tony reported footsteps in the Daughter’s Bedroom but he didn’t see anything that could cause them. Seconds later, the CO2 alarm in the basement started beeping because the batteries were dying. Eric removed the batteries from the unit to stop the beeping and the EVP session continued.
At 11:21 pm the male client reported he was feeling very cold and the female client stated the “angry man” was standing in front of the male client and affecting him. This was stated as a feeling as nothing could actually be seen in the Living Room.
Noah came out of the Son’s Bedroom at 11:23 pm, and decided to use the Panasonic RR-DR60 to ask some EVP questions. Everyone conducted an EVP session for about two minutes and then the recording was reviewed immediately afterward. The RR-DR60 is a voice activated recorder so only when a voice was detected did the recorder record. No EVPs were heard upon review and later review also did not yield any EVPs.
No other events occurred during this session and at 11:32 pm the group headed back up to the first floor.
After a short break, the male client decided to head to bed in the Son’s Room in the Basement. Eric and Noah elected to stay in the Living Room to act as sentinels in case something occurred on that floor. Everyone else headed to the 2nd Floor to continue the investigation.
At 11:50 pm, Mary was in the 2nd Floor Son’s Bedroom, Tony was at the head of the stairs and the female client was in the Master Bedroom. After five minutes of silence, an EVP session was started on the 2nd Floor.
A humming sound was heard immediately after the female client was referring to the baby that normally sleeps in the Master Bedroom at 12:37 am (See Evidence).
At 12:45 am Tony reported he felt someone sitting on the other end of the bed he was sitting on in the Roommates’ Room.
No other events occurred during this session and it was ended at 12:50 am. At this time the female client stayed upstairs while Mary and Tony switched with Noah and Eric. Five minutes of silence was started at 1:20 am.
The landlord called the male client at 1:25 am informing him that he was outside of the house. The male client let him in, and then sat in the Living Room with Mary and Tony. Since he had been woken up, the male client decided to stay up and also sat in the Living Room.
Tony stated he saw a black head and shoulders in the doorway to the kitchen. This was not caught on video. At 1:46 am, Noah asked for a noise on the 2nd Floor and a noise was heard in the Kitchen on the first floor (See Evidence). Again at 1:55 am Noah asked for two knocks on the 2nd Floor and two knocks were heard in the Kitchen (See Evidence).
No further events occurred and the session was ended at 2:15 am, and the group took a break and resumed investigating at 2:40 am.
Mary, Eric, the female client and the landlord went to the Basement while Noah, Tony and the male client went to the 2nd Floor.
In the Basement Mary and the female client went into the Son’s Bedroom with the landlord standing in the doorway with Eric sitting near the laundry area. An EVP session was conducted with questions directed toward “Tobin” who was identified by another member of PIM during a previous investigation.
At one point, both Mary and the female client felt as if something sat down on the bed. Review of the video did not yield any evidence of this. No other events occurred in the Basement.
On the 2nd Floor, Noah sat in the Roommates’ Room, Tony in the Son’s Bedroom and the male client in the Master Bedroom. An EVP session was conducted with the male client provoking the spirit of the angry man trying to elicit a response. Nothing happened during this session and it was ended at 3:00 am.
Everyone met back on the first floor and it was decided that the members of PIM would head under the porch to the Crawl Space at 3:15 am. The clients stated there was electrical and heating in this Crawl Space which didn’t make a lot of sense. Upon investigation of the Crawl Space, PIM determined that there was not electrical in it – just a junction box. There was heat directed to this space for some reason that was removed and bricked up. No events occurred during this time and the group ended their investigation at 3:36 am. The landlord left shortly thereafter.
Everyone got ready for bed at this time, checking batteries for the coming night. Mary slept in the Son’s Bedroom on the 2nd Floor, Eric slept in the Roommates’ Room, Noah and Tony slept in the Living Room, the female client slept in the Master Bedroom and the male client got ready for work. The male client left for work at 4:30 am. No events occurred during the remainder of the night.
