Arrival
The group arrived at Willow Creek around 8:45 pm. They unpacked their equipment and began setting up throughout the house. Noah took some time to show Amy the layout as well as how to use some of the equipment – this was her first investigation. Karen went outside to do outdoor condition readings, as well as do a walkthrough of the property – writing down her impressions and weather conditions.
After the equipment was set up (see equipment list), and all baseline readings and photos were taken, Karen and Amy headed upstairs at 11:02 pm to begin the investigation while Noah and Al stayed on the main floor.

Investigation
Karen was in the Northwest Bedroom (NWBR) while Amy was in the hallway between the Northeast Bedroom (NEBR) and the Nursery. Nothing occurred during this time, but Amy was feeling the need to go into the Master Bedroom – it was around 11:17 pm.
Amy sat in the wooden chair next to the bed, while Karen sat on the bed. Around 11:23 pm, Amy stated she heard what sounded like wind chimes – Karen did not hear this. There was no wind outside, and there was nothing around the house that would have caused the chiming. Shortly after around 11:26 pm both women thought they heard thumping come from the attic.
After trying to conduct an electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) session, at around 11:30 pm it was noted that both of them heard footsteps coming from the hallway by the NEBR. The first few steps were very loud as if a boot was hitting the wood and then they slowly dissipated – moving from the NEBR toward the NWBR. (NOTE: Noah and Al could be heard moving downstairs, but when recreated later, the women stated the footsteps were not the same and that they were clearly heard on the second level and not the first.)
To see if they could hear the footsteps again, Karen moved into the Nursery and Amy back to the Hallway around 11:33 pm. During their investigating time upstairs, there was no electromagnetic field (EMF) or temperature fluctuations. They concluded this part of the investigation around 11:36 pm.
Once back in the Family Room, the women talked with Noah and Al about the experiences they had. While talking, at 12:04 am, there was a loud noise coming from what sounded like the Kitchen area. It sounded as if something slid and made a loud metallic noise. Noah, Karen and Amy all heard it and tried to figure out what it was. Nothing was found to have made the noise.
After talking, Noah, Karen and Amy started to investigate the New Basement around 12:31 am – Al remained in the Family Room, where he would remain for the rest of the evening on the couch. During this time, an EVP session was done. All three members kept hearing a voice, and after deductive reasoning and investigating found it was Al talking to one of the cats. There were no EMF or temperature fluctuations during this time. They concluded this part of the investigation at 12:55 am.
Noah felt something touching his right ear as he walked up the stairs back up to the Family Room. He thought it was spider webs, but nothing was found.
The group then moved into the Parlor/Living Room area at 1:12 am. Karen sat at the desk in the Parlor, while Noah and Amy sat on the couch in the Living Room. The group conducted an EVP session, but no activities occurred – ending this part of the investigation at 1:31 am. There were also no EMF or temperature changes.
Moving to the old basement, the group attempted an EVP session around 1:33 am. It was noted at 1:44 am there were noises upstairs, but it was one of the two cats walking – this was later confirmed after reviewing the cameras located on the first floor. Again, no activities occurred and the group concluded at 1:46 am. There were no EMF or temperature changes.
Taking a short break in the Dining Area, the group would go upstairs around 1:55 am. Noah sat in the Nursery, Amy in the NWBR and Karen in the Master Bedroom. During this time, Noah stated he felt the same type of sensation on his right ear he felt earlier in the night. There was no explanation as to why this was. The group conducted an EVP session, but no activities occurred. Once again, there were no EMF or temperature changes. They concluded the first night of investigating at 2:26 am.
After making sure all equipment had batteries to run for the rest of the night, all three PIM members slept in the Living Room. Everyone went to sleep around 2:49 am.
