Investigation
Upon waking up in the morning, Al left to do some errands, while Noah, Michael and Karen started to do some evidence review from the night before. Steve would arrive at the location around 11:00 am – Noah would then give him a tour of the property.
Around 12:30 pm, the group left for lunch but left all equipment running. Karen would leave after lunch to return back to Milwaukee.
After lunch and making a stop to pick up some dinner supplies, the group returned to the farm. They checked all of the equipment and made sure batteries were full. They then decided go to the tree located near the southeast corner of the property.
Many sensitives have stated the tree or the area around it has an importance in one-way or another. Michael stated during PIM’s first investigation he was drawn to the tree. Steve and Noah walked to the tree while Al and Michael road out to it on a tractor around 2:00 pm.
Once there, Michael began doing a reading of the area while Steve took some baseline photographs with and without an IR filter – they yielded no abnormalities. Noah took EMF readings throughout the area, which were normal with a constant reading of less than 0.2 milligauss the entire time. Michael stated he felt the area by the tree was used for a meeting place -he didn’t know by whom though. The group conducted an EVP session around the tree that lasted approximately 20 minutes. After reviewing the audio from the session no EVPs were recorded. Around 3:00 pm it was decided to wrap the investigation at the tree and return to the house.
Once back to the house, Al decided to put a movie in and took a nap. Steve, Michael and Noah decided they would take some equipment and head to the second floor to investigate. The group spread throughout the floor and sat in different rooms – Michael was in the Master Bedroom, Noah in the Nursery and Steve in Lily’s Room. They took photographs, EMF readings and conducted EVP sessions but no anomalous data was recorded. At this time, Michael was unable to locate “Lily” or “Sarah” in the home. Michael did sense a young male in the attic, so the group decided to move the investigation up there around 3:45 pm.
A Tri-field meter and a single-axis EMF meter were set up close to the northeast corner of the attic – Michael sensed the spirit called “Robbie” was in that corner. Two video cameras were pointed on the meters to document any EMF fluctuations. Michael tried communicating with “Robbie” to try and find out more information about him, but all he could find out was that he was afraid, although he seemed to be comfortable with Michael. Unfortunately, no evidence was gathered to corroborate his story, as the EMF meters never fluctuated. PIM next tried an EVP session, but after reviewing the audio no recordings were found.
Michael also noticed the spirit called “the Reverend” was in the southwest corner of the attic but did not try to interact with the group even when provoked. At 4:15 pm the group wrapped up the investigation and returned to the second floor.
During the investigation until that point, insects hindered the EVP sessions, as well as when the group slept – mainly on the second floor. Steve and Noah decided to use a shop-vac to remove as many of the insects as possible so the investigation occurring later that evening would be less bothered by the sound of buzzing insects. The next hour was spent removing the insects from the first and second floors – gaps between windows were also sealed so the insects couldn’t get back in. They finished this at approximately 5:15 pm.
For approximately the next hour and a half, the group cooked dinner. After eating and conversing with Al, after he awoke, about the events that occurred so far, Al lay down again, and the group got their equipment ready to continue investigating. PIM members moved upstairs around 8:00 pm to try the “Apparition Room” in Lily’s Room.
Noah decided to start, so Michael went to the Master Bedroom and Steve went to the Nursery. Steve recorded Noah while he conducted the “Apparition Room,” but nothing occurred during Noah’s time in Lily’s Room so it was decided to have Michael try it.
Around 8:30 pm, Steve began recording Michael with his video camera during the session. While Michael was conducting the “Apparition Room,” he detected the spirit of “Robbie” come down from the attic. Again he tried to communicate with the spirit while Noah and Steve tried to get some physical evidence that the spirit was there. No physical evidence was obtained and EVP sessions conducted during this time yielded no evidence either.
At 8:47 pm Noah felt a strange cold sensation next to him as he stood just to the east of the doorway to the Master Bedroom. It made every hair on his body stand on end. While Noah was trying to figure out where the sensation had come from, Michael stated “Robbie” was fading. Noah immediately asked where “the Reverend“ was and Michael stated the spirit was in the hallway that led to Lily’s Room.
Temperature readings were taken but no significant changes over the baseline of 62°F were recorded. Michael decided he wanted to try conversing with “the Reverend” instead of provoking the spirit. The hope was that the spirit might be more apt to interact or provide some information about itself. Although this tactic kept “the Reverend” around longer, it didn’t result in any recordable activity, nor was Michael able to glean any more information from the spirit. After a short time, “the Reverend” retreated and Michael ended his time in the “Apparition Room” at 9:00 pm.
Steve next tried the “Apparition Room” while Noah recorded him on video. Michael gave Steve a ball and jacks to play with in an attempt to bring “Lily” out. After about ten minutes of conducting an EVP session, Michael detected the presence of “Lily,” which was the first time anyone had detected her since arriving at the farm for this investigation. Steve proceeded to talk to “Lily” about his children and tell stories of things his kids liked.
Michael stated “Lily” enjoyed the conversation immensely, but no physical evidence was caught that she was there. The audio recorded during this time also yielded no evidence to back up what Michael was sensing. After another 20 minutes passed, Michael sensed “Lily” was leaving, and at this time the sounds of Al awaking from his nap could also be heard. There is no way of knowing if Al waking up had anything to do with “Lily” leaving but it was a strange coincidence. The group decided to end the investigation upstairs for now and headed downstairs to meet up with Al at around 9:30 pm.
After talking with Al about the events that occurred, it was decided to conduct a séance like the previous night in the Parlor. Michael sat facing south, Noah sat facing north, Al sat facing west, and Steve sat facing east. This time the quartz crystals were not placed on the table, as the group wanted to see if the quartz missing would change the activity during the séance. Noah placed a Tri-field meter on the table to monitor any fluctuations in the EMF during the séance. Audio recorders and two video cameras were also used to document the séance.
The séance began at around 10:00 pm. with Michael opening the séance and inviting friendly spirits to come forward to communicate. Multiple attempts were made to get the spirits to come forward but nothing happened – no fluctuations in EMF, strange noises and Michael didn’t sense anything moving closer. After trying unsuccessfully for 45 minutes, they decided to end the séance for now and would try again later.
The group then headed upstairs to investigate around 11:00 pm. Despite trying to contact any spirit there, no activity occurred. It was decided to try a séance in the Northwest Bedroom where “the Reverend” is thought to inhabit when the he comes down from the attic. The table and chairs from the Parlor were moved to the bedroom, and at midnight the group started the second séance of the evening. Again multiple recording devices were used along with the Tri-field meter, but no physical evidence of spirit activity was recorded. After 30 minutes the group decided to end the second séance to take a break downstairs.
At this time Al laid down again and Steve, who had a migraine, also laid down to try and relieve it. Michael and Noah decided to take a walk outside to investigate the grounds and out buildings. Michael sensed some things on the periphery but nothing specific and nothing that would come closer. No abnormal EMF readings were obtained at this time either. After hearing the howling of coyotes that seemed quite close, and after briefly investigating the barn and machine shed, they headed back inside a little after 12:30 am.
Once inside, Steve got up and said he was feeling better but it was decided to end the investigation for the night. All group members checked the cameras and the voice recorders to ensure they could run all night. Everyone retired to bed at around 1:00 am.
Al again slept on the couch in the Living Room, Michael was again in the Master Bedroom, Noah was again in the Nursery, and Steve slept in the Northwest Bedroom. No activity was reported during the time everyone slept.
The group got up at around 9:00 am. They packed their equipment and said goodbye to Al and headed home at around 10:00 am.
Conclusion
Overall this investigation was a bit quieter than PIM is use to at Willow Creek Farm. That being said, there were a few interesting experiences while investigating and some evidence was captured. The group was hoping the séances would stir up more activity since another group had great success with them previously. PIM knows there are no guarantees when it comes to the paranormal and will definitely try again during their next investigation. PIM also wants to spend more time in the basements of Willow Creek Farm since it did not investigate these for the most part on this particular investigation.
PIM still believes this location to be actively haunted, and looks forward to its next investigation at the location. PIM would like to thank Al, who was a gracious host and up for almost anything when it comes to the investigation, for letting the group investigate his property for a third time. We look forward to working with him in the future on our next investigation.

Karen’s Impressions:
Northwest Bedroom – Felt welcomed by someone. Might have been Robbie
Lily’s Room – Felt a little light headed and dizzy in the room. Also thought left arm was touched
While in the Nursery, I felt Robbie was peaking around the corner from the NWBR
Master Bedroom – Sarah was really upset I was in the room. Felt her presence near the closet.
Blue Room – Still has that fearful feeling to it
Old Basement – Older gentleman. More curious than anything. Had white hair and a clean-shaven face from what I could pick up.
Shed – Still get that feeling of anxiety and panic in the middle of the building
Barn – It was more of an event I picked up on. Felt as if there was a man who was whipping some horses and yelling at them.
Outside Fence – Picked up on a teenage boy in his early 20’s. I felt he was wearing a blue shirt, had overalls, wearing a cowboy-style hat with his sleeves rolled up.
Michael’s Impressions:
New Basement – Gentleman, we believe to be a black gentleman, that upon entering the basement I got the clear message “leave me alone.”
Old Basement – older gentleman, didn’t respond
No Lily or Sarah upstairs
Picked up on Reverend and young man in attack. Later reached out to young man, but preacher avoided me.
Hay mound in Barn – felt that event. Girl was possibly raped up there and was traumatic.
Old Tree – Got an event there, but can’t remember what the event was.
Cornfield – Never figured out what it was, but felt there was some sort of energy that was out there that wanted me to join them.
During Apparition Room experiment felt Reverend come up behind me. It was kind of pleasant. Didn’t get a lot from him.
When Al was getting ready for the play he was going to, felt Sarah join him in the bedroom.
Séance – felt there were people outside looking in
